Thank you, Coach Gilbert Ruiz for sharing your runners' results from the Floresville Meet.
There is nothing more rewarding than working hard at your craft, getting to showcase it, and then getting acknowledged for all your hard work. That is exactly what our kids got to experience Saturday in Floresville at the Floresville XC Invitational. After all the dust settled, people definitely were talking about our kids.
Varsity Boys claimed first in the 5A/6A Large School Division almost placing all 5 in the top 10, running away with the team title.
JV Boys placed 4th out 19 in the 1A-4A Small School Division.
Varsity Girls claim first in the Small School Division and proved that they aren't going away just yet.
Both groups still have room to grow and if we are lucky enough to stay healthy, then we have a good chance this year to take both teams back to the State Meet.
The team next travels to 6A Steele HS on Saturday.
