On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the girls took a loss to Cole 47-22 but we played a great 1st quarter being up 8-1. Then Cole put a full court press on us and we let the pressure get to us and we ended up with 33 turnovers. Our guards are getting better we just need more experience and games to help build their confidence. Our defense is getting better every game and that is exciting to see. All the girls are getting some great minutes.

Later that day, the girls took on Uvalde and lost a heartbreaker 40-38. We lost in the last few seconds of the game. We outscored Uvalde in the 1st and 4th quarter playing a great offensive and defensive game. We cut our turnovers down to 15 which is a positive stat for the team. So proud of all the girls and how they battled and fought until the end.

The girls will play Fox Tech and Providence on Friday. We are working hard to get our first win. Go Pirates!
The girls finished off the Tourney on Friday by picking up two wins. The first win we beat Providence 54-18 we had 13 points in transition and it was exciting to see us running up and down the floor and getting some fast breaks. We out rebounded them 51 to 23 and that is huge for us.

The second game of the day was against Fox Tech we took the win 31-27 it was close until the end. We scored 20 points in the paint and we had 48 rebounds. Our BIGS are doing most of the scoring for us this year and they are working hard for every rebound. We needed these two wins now you can see the confidence building within the girls and the team.

Saturday, November 16, 2025, we faced Jefferson and we lost a close one 40-36 we were right there the whole game we just had a few turnovers down the stretch that helped Jefferson take the lead. We saw a lot of good things from this weekend and the girls will continue to work hard and get better every day.
