Last Wednesday, January 17, 2024, powerlifting took a team of 10 girls to the Natalia Meet.
Meet results:
- 2nd place Junior Katelyn Stech in 242 weight class
- 2nd place Senior Brianna Paredes in 132 weight class
- 2nd place Sophomore Valeria Gonzalez in 114 weight class
- 1st place Senior Mya Villarreal in 97 weight class
There will be two meets this week. 9 young lifters travel to the Natalia Meet on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. The Meet starts at 5:30pm. The largest group for powerlifting competes on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Texas Strength Systems in San Antonio. The team will consist of 9 girls and 11 boys. The Meet begins at 6:00pm.
Thank you to those who ventured out to Natalia last Wednesday. It is very much appreciated and has not gone unnoticed. The team hopes to see many more powerlifting fans in the stands this week! Go Pirates!
