Over the holiday break, the Pirates went 6-1. The Pirates are beginning to gel as a unit and had an amazing 4 game span, winning the Nixon-Smiley tournament. During tournament play, Junior Zach Perez and Sophomore Chase Guevara earned all-tournament team while leading us to victory. Zach averaged 14 points per game and Chase Guevara averaged 12 points per game. Freshman Seth Pierce had a great tournament as well, averaging 16 points a game and over 10 rebounds per game. The Pirate's goal at the moment is to get better every day with District play starting next week. The Pirates will face Randolph High School tomorrow, January 2, 2024, at 7:30pm at Randolph.
