November 17, 2023. What a great week for Lytle Golf. The boys and girls team played at Brackenridge Golf Course in the Alamo City Series tournament hosted by Brandies.
The boys team members Daniel Herrera (115), Toby Stillions (112), Jordan Rodriguez (127), Domonick Ramirez (132), and Isaac Bojorquez (123) made Lytle proud with their poise and character. Three of the players are playing in their first competitive tournament and another is playing in his second. All members of this team are sophomores, and they are looking forward to their growth on the course and as a team.
The boys next tournament is on December 4, 2023, at Fair Oaks.
On Thursday, Lytle golf girls team was represented for the first time in 10 yrs. (Rebekah Lytle 2014). I am so glad to have them back. The team consisted of Cheyenne Martinez (133), Alli Martinez (135), and JuJu Center (137). These girls were having a great time. They made friends with their competitors and showed plenty of golf courtesy and respect. Despite the scores, there were great shots and putts from those ladies. During our team meal afterward, they told me of their fantastic shots …… IN DETAIL!
The girls team's next tournament will be January 25, 2023, at Cedar Creek.
One reminder that if there is any golf “stuff” not being used in your storage….. we can use it.
