The girls had a rough night, November 14, 2023, only shooting 22.5% from the field and committing 24 turnovers. We were short of 2 players, so we played with eight athletes and when not in basketball shape against a team that gets up and down the floor, it shows. The girls will learn from their mistakes and will work hard to fix them. This group is going to be good once everyone can get here and get the chemistry going. Until then, they just have to be patient. The team will travel to Southside tomorrow, November 16, 2023, for a tournament and play some good teams. The girls will take on Providence first, and they just had a player sign with Texas Tech. In the second game, they take on Devine. On Friday, November 17, 2023, the girls play Cole and John F Kennedy. How they do in these pool games will determine what time we play on Saturday.
