On Tuesday, November 13, 2023, the Junior Varsity girls traveled to Navarro for a basketball game and ended up with a loss of 26-52. The girls showed much improved energy and effort in the second half, flying to the ball, diving for loose balls, and encouraging one another. The team roster includes Genesis Martinez who scored 4 points and 3 steals, Cayleigh Smith played important key minutes with 3 blocks and 4 rebounds, Sofia Stewart ended with 8 points and 7 rebounds, K'Lnn Perez also played key minutes, and played with an injured hand finishing with 2 steals and 3 deflections. Claire Canales ended with 4 points and 10 rebounds, Adrianne Muraira was our Top Scorer with 10 points and 6 steals, and Jaylen Villareal finished the night with 4 steals 3 rebounds.
As you can see, we only have 7 players on our roster. The girls have many areas to grow in, but we are putting in the extra work to make it happen!
