Superintendent Smith got to meet with state education leaders this week: Michael Williams, Texas Commissioner of Education, Marisa Perez, State Board of Education Member from San Antonio area, and State Senator Carlos Uresti, District 19. They were able to visit at the Texas Association of SchoolAdministrators Midwinter Conference in Austin.
All three are making decisions in this spring's legislative session that will have an effect on Lytle ISD and Mrs. Smith is working to make sure they can make informed decisions for the students of Lytle.
