For the second year in a row, Lytle High School has a UIL Young Filmmakers Festival entry going to state-level competition next Wednesday, February 18th. Congratulations to Cierra Cuenca, Paul Castro, Alexis Inocencio, and Kayci Lopez, the UIL Young Filmmakers who produced the documentary, Ruiz Inspires. “This is a well written, planned, and executed documentary short film based on a highly emotional and powerful subject matter. Based on the past tense used in the opening graphics, I was expecting the worst in the end. I was very happy to find that Coach Ruiz is still fighting the fight and inspiring others.
