In the last week of July, Mr. Corona and 23 other teachers from across the country attended the "U.S. Air Force/FIRST Leadership Experience" in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This was the 6th year the U.S. Air Force hosted this annual event. All who attended were members of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). Robotic Engineering teachers, sponsors, coaches and mentors, spent 5 days becoming familiar with the U.S. Air Force Academy and the many opportunities available.
