The Freshmen Boys' Basketball team has been off to a rough start in district play, losing to Carrizo Springs 39-48 last Friday and Crystal City 32-74 last night. Poor ball handling and execution put us in a bind early in both games and despite improvement in the second half of each game, deficits we have caused ourselves have been too great to overcome. Top scorers against Carrizo were Vincent Casanova (16pts) and Carson Aldridge (11pts) while Kaleb McDaris (14pts) led scorers against Crystal City. We will continue to work to improve and prepare for our game tomorrow night in Pearsall. Go Pirates!
