Last night the Lady Pirates traveled the short trip down 132 to play Devine. The Devine ladies have not lost a single game this year. In the first game or B game the team was able to score 10 points, however, Devine ended up with 40. Lauren C. led the scoring with 6, Alize S added 2 and Hannah M scored 2. Our record is 1-6 for the year.
In the second game we played with six lovely ladies who battled the entire game. We also scored 10 points and reached one goal of scoring in the first half. We have been shut out in the first half in 3 of the last 4 games. Victoria A led the scoring with 5 points. I have attached a picture of her shot while warming up. Unfortunately it is a beautiful set shot but that went out with the ladies playing 3 on 3. Sydney E scored 2 points on a great cut to the basket layup and Skye added 3 points. We were 2 for 14 from the foul line. The ladies hustled the entire night and played a great defense but when all was finished it was them 55 and us 10. We are 0 for 10 this year and play our last road game in Carrizo, Monday.
