Freshmen vs Devine
The Boys’ Freshmen Basketball team lost to Devine last night 52-38. After leading 21-19 at the half, the Pirates were unable to make necessary defensive stops, allowing Devine to take a 30-36 point lead in to the fourth quarter. The Pirates continued to fight, however they struggled to score down the stretch. Offensively, Jonathon Cantu (8pts) and JC Hernandez (7pts) fueled the Pirates while defensively Mark Cantu and Kaleb McDaris played well. Next game will be on Tuesday January 30 in Lytle vs Carrizo Springs. Current record: 4-7 overall, 0-4 district.
