Last night the 7th grade traveled to Dilley. After a good week of practice the boys played a really great first half of football. We knew going into the game it was going to be a grind it out style of football and it sure was. Both teams struggled to move the ball as defense dominated in the first half. The score was tied 0-0 at halftime. In the second half Dilley was able to score 3 rushing Touchdowns. Our offense sputtered all game long but the boys did a good job of getting in and out of formations. It was a hard fought game but Dilley outlasted us.
The boys improved significantly on defense from the previous week. They are all still learning how to play football and we are excited about the potential they have. Back to work! Next game is against Cotulla @ home.
