The boys opened up their season at Jourdanton. The B team boys started the year off on the right foot with a 22-12 win. The boys played really great defense and were led in scoring Brandon Martinez and Robert Wagner who each had 6 points.
The A team game followed and the Pirates came out with lots of energy, jumping out to an 18-9 first quarter lead and led the entire game after that. The final score was 53-38. Eli Vega led the team in scoring with 21 points. Great way to open the season.
