Lytle 63 vs Uvalde 59
On November 16th, the Pirates traveled to battle the Uvalde Coyotes for their second game of the season.
The boys had another slow start- struggling to maintain a lead. The game remained close the entire night. However, the Pirates showed true grit as they fought to regain the lead in the final 2 minutes of the fourth quarter. The boys finished strong and won the game 63-59.
Jose Cortez, Daniel Aguirre, and Damien Garcia led the team in points, while Caleb Wood, Michael Tomlison, and Elias Hernandez showed off their defensive skills and assisted with the Uvalde victory.

Lytle 57 vs Poteet 24
Over the Thanksgiving break, November 20th, the Pirates hosted the Poteet Aggies for their third game of the season.
The boys continue to play well as they develop their team chemistry. The team dominated the half scoring 34 points to Poteet's 13. The second half was no different- as the pirates remained consistent and had another strong finish winning the game 57-24.
Damien Garcia, Jose Cortez, and Bubba Solis led the team in points, while Daniel Aguirre, Jeremiah Flores, and Elias Hernandez competed defensively and assisted with the Poteet victory.
