Last night concluded the first round of district play for the 8th grade Pirates basketball team. The boys have been playing really good basketball and it culminated in two explosive wins over the outmatched Dilley Pups teams. Our boys executed our press and fast break offense perfectly and overwhelmed Dilley all night. The A team boys won 76-10! and the B team won 26-5! Both teams played great and really demonstrated what we have been working on all year. They are playing an exciting brand of Pirate Basketball!
Both teams remained undefeated. A Team is 4-0 and B team is 3-0. We will resume our next round of district games after the holiday break.
