Tuesday's game against Crystal City was a heart breaker for the Pirates, as they lost the lead late in a 4-2 defeat. Jacob Esquibel started the game for our Pirates. He surrendered two runs on six hits over three and a third innings, striking out four and walking one. Sebastian Flores, Chris Castillo, and Logan Wilson all had one hit to lead the Pirates. Our Pirates were sure-handed and did not commit a single error. Bubba Solis took the loss; he surrendered two runs on four hits over two innings, striking out three and walking one. Chris Castillo drove in one when he singled, and the Pirates knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied at two with Crystal City batting in the top of the tenth when B Mena singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
