The goal every Thursday game day is to COMPETE, and compete we did. Our 23 football players took on an 8th Grade squad from Jourdanton that was 50 deep. Final score was 12 – 6 in favor of Jourdanton. The second half was turned into a running clock with 6-minute quarters because of the storm that was looming. EVERY player gave their all in whatever capacity they asked contribute. I’m posting our roster because to single out a few names would to injustice to the TEAM effort displayed last night, October 24th. If you haven’t had a chance to see these 8th Graders play, I urge you to do so.
