Lytle Independent School District

The girls beat Marion last night, November 19th, 62-38 it has been 5 years since we have beat them. Monday, we lost Noelia Medina another starter due to an ankle injury in practice. So, I wasn’t quite sure on the lineup or how we would respond. Well, the girls came out on fire and played as a TEAM. We suited out 9 girls and every one of them contributed to this win. Kiara Nixon led the team with 18 points followed by Autumn Frias with 17 and Kylie Mask gave us 10. When you can get three starters in double figures you are sure to win a ball game. Adrianna Rios started last night and contributed 7 points. Our three big’s Abby Moreno, Alex Naegelin and Clarissa Ramos played well and gave us great minutes. Nicole Godines came in and played well on defense. We will travel to the Cole tourney Thursday, Friday and Saturday and play Devine, La Vernia, Donna, Roma and Cole. We will see some good competition to get us ready for district. Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving the girls will be here next week working hard to represent Lytle with Pride. Hoping to get our two starters back after the break. Go Pirates!!!
