The girls traveled to the Cole tourney over the Thanksgiving break and went 1-4 for the weekend. We picked up a good win over Roma scoring 51 points. Autumn Frias received All tournament.

We then faced Pleasanton, who was undefeated, and we only lost by 10 considering we only suited out 9 girls and are still missing 3 key players. The heart and hustle were there, and it was a great team effort with all 9 girls contributing. All 9 girls are stepping up and getting huge amounts of play time that will pay off once we get to District because they will all have the confidence to play in big moments. Kylie Mask took 3 charges this game and Autumn Frias had 13 points.

To any coach, it's disappointing to know this is your year to do some great things then you are hit with injuries and have to adjust but life throws you curves and you have to roll with the punches and that is just what these girls are doing.

Last night, December 3rd, we traveled to Hondo and we lost but the crazy thing is we out hustled them but just could not offensively keep ourselves in the game. We finished the game with 8 players, I’m thinking we lost Adriana Rios for a few weeks for concussion symptoms.

We will head to the Navarro tourney tomorrow and play some good competition but looking forward to watching these 8 girls give me all they have.

Autumn Frias and Kylie Mask have stepped up and been great leaders during the past few weeks.
