After a dominant win by the Lady Pirates this past Friday, January 24th, the boys faced the Dilley Wolves and won 82-67. The Pirates started the game hot, scoring 24 points in the first quarter and never let up from the start. The Pirate's defense continued to pressure the Wolves all night and would not allow them to get into a rhythm. Seniors John Martinez led all scorers with 25 points and 10 rebounds and Mr. 1000, Robert Ibarra, scoring a quiet 20 points. Junior Logan Wilson had one of his best games all season, scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. Logan even played the post position at times when the Pirates had foul trouble and scored a few buckets. I would like to say thank you for the support we have seen over the last few weeks from our fans. We have filled our side of the stands at home and away which has been amazing for our boys to see.
