This past Saturday we had 5 of our High School Art students compete in the Visual Art Scholastic Event Competition at East Central High School. The competition was tough with 39 school districts in Region 20E in attendance and a little over 1,000 art pieces competing! We had great results with all 5 students receiving the highest Juror rating of a 4! The best part of this competition in particular is the experience the artists get in interviewing with a Professional Art Juror. Students gain the confidence to speak not just about their work but to also justify their creative decisions. Congratulations to all artist who participated in the competition!
