Last night, January 28th, the 7th Grade boys travelled to Karnes City. With only 6 traveling, Chase Guevara, Princeton Menchaca, Noah Merrell, Darrius Garcia, Fabian Ayala, and Diego Reyna, the boys faced an uphill battle. Chase was on fire and led all scorers with 23 points. Diego, Darrius, and Noah also contributed to some points. Fabian and the rest of the boys played stifling defense with a relentless full-court press. The Pirates jumped to a way out 27-4 lead. Playing a bit more conservative in the 2nd half, the Pirates held on and won the game! The Pirates moved to 3-1! Go, Pirates!
