On a beautiful evening this past April 17, the Lytle High School parking lot lit up with energy and excitement...plus the bright lights of food trucks and aromas of delicious fresh food cooking. The Lytle Chamber of Commerce organized the event working with Loretta Zavala, Lytle ISD Community Liaison. Many volunteers and students worked to ensure the night was a great experience for around 1,250 people in attendance. There were 12 food trucks cooking up a variety of eats and sweets, and several of them sold out of their products quickly, including Chef Johnny Stewart! Chamber President Mark Lovelace says the Lytle Chamber plans on hosting this event again, possibly in Fall 2021, with the goal of making it bigger and better.

The food truck rally, raffles, and other fundraisers allowed the Chamber of Commerce to present $2000 scholarships to two highly deserving 2021 Lytle Graduates, Kylie Mask and Alexandrea Naegelin.

Check out the photos from this great event that was a wonderful example of Lytle ISD community engagement and partnerships.
