Organized by Food & Consumer Science teacher, Blanca Cantu, the 2017-18 Lytle HS Blood Drives held in October 2017 and April 2018 collected 165 units (13 were platelet units.) Lytle High School was recognized by the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center for coming in 12th place for Most Units Collected out of 90+ schools in South Texas. Maybe it's the delicious treats prepared by Ms. Cantu's Culinary Class that bring those donors in? See the full Google Photo Album: 2017-18 Lytle High School Blood Drives
Something else to be proud of: Fourteen of our 2018 Graduates earned their Honors Red Cord, for donating 6 or more times.
