2-1-2018 Employees Share Voting Selfies, Get 3-Month Jeans Pass
Superintendent Michelle Carroll Smith thanks employees for getting out to vote and sharing their "I voted!" selfies...with a 3-month jean pass! Staff throughout the district were excited to share their enthusiasm for having a voice in government. Mrs. Smith provided voter registration details and dates, polling locations, and candidate comparison websites so employees could be informed about their choices. Here's the Google Photo Album with lots of shared "I voted!" selfies. There was even an "I voted!" poster at each campus and department office for employees and High School students to sign and show their pride in doing their part.

Says Mrs. Smith, "I believe that voting is so important that I'm willing to give any Lytle ISD staff member who made the time to vote a "free pass" to wear jeans for the rest of this school year.
