The band will be hosting our 8th Annual “Band on the Run” 5K to raise scholarship money for our graduating band members. The event will take place here at LHS on April 27th, and we would love to have you join us for the fun! The race is open to runners and walkers, and the distance (5 Km is a little over 3 miles) is manageable for people of all fitness levels. If you walk the entire route, it will probably take you a little over an hour unless you’re a fast walker.
The entry form is attached. Your entry fee of $25 (entry fee increases after April 13th) gets you a race registration, a race T-shirt, and a nice goodie bag, bragging rights, and a chance to show your support for some great LHS students as they prepare to move on to the next phase of their education. We will also be awarding medals to the top 3 finishers in each age group; see entry form for more details.
Paper entry forms/fees can be turned in to Mr. Fender or to the HS office. You can also enter online at goo.gl/7yRFd1 if you prefer to.
