On Friday, February 22nd, Lytle's Skull Studios digital media club proudly hosted Neesie and the Tin Can Trio for a lunchtime jam session in the foyer area of the high school. Students and staff from the High School, Junior High, and Central Office celebrated MUSIC in SCHOOLS with an authentic, entertaining and educational blues band performance. The San Antonio Blues Society made this wonderful experience possible through their "Blues in the Schools" program which brings the music to the community via the local school system. Live performances at local schools give our young people the chance to hear the music that is the foundation of what they listen to today! Performers in the Tin Can Trio included Neesie Beal - vocals, washboard, Jim Beal - Bass, music history narrative, Allen Elsasser - Guitar, and Ollie Morris - drums, vocals.
This video performance is 55 minutes in length. Sound quality, three-camera video shoot, and editing - all completed by a team of 10+ Skull Studios students - resulted in a very nice final video program.
