Pirate baseball's push for a District Championship came up a little short on Friday night. In an action-packed game from start to finish, Joel Guerrero and Logan Wilson provided us with great pitching. Unfortunately, multiple errors in the 3rd inning and 5th inning erased a valiant offensive effort by the Pirates.
This season has been full of exciting matchups. We have had 15 games this season decided by 2 runs or less. I'm excited to see if our experience can carry over into the pressure-packed playoff atmosphere.
