The girls beat the Natalia Mustangs last night, Janurary21st, 34-22 and it always feels good to beat the team in blue. We have won the last two games by winning the 3rd quarter and outscoring our opponents. Noelia Medina had 16 points to lead the team, Kiara Nixon put in 12 and Eleni Keith had 4. Our defensive effort needs to be better as we travel to Dilley on Friday to finish the first round of District play. The girls move to 3-1. Thank you to everyone that came out to support the basketball teams last night it was a great crowd and atmosphere. Go Pirates!!!
We recognized our Junior High teams and coaches last night. The future looks very bright with these young ladies, I’m excited to get this 8th Grade group next year! Thank you to Coach Bohl, Cordero, Foster and Armentrout for all your hard work and dedication.
Congrats to the boys and coaches, I can’t imagine what it is like to put up 100 points!!!
