Lytle JV 4, Holy Cross 5
Pirate baseball began its season yesterday, February 24th, versus Holy Cross with a respectable performance by both squads. Although our bats were relatively quiet, our pitchers did a fine job. The Varsity was led by Jacob Esquibel and Alex Ramos. This combo gave up 3 earned runs on 5 hits. Offensive highlights were Caleb Wood's RBI double in the 1st and Zak Placido finding his way on base in all 4 of his at-bats.
We continue to make strides every day as a team. They are a joy to coach and are truly having fun playing together.

- Thursday - 9:00 am vs. Poteet & 5:00 pm vs. Progresso
- Friday - 1:00 pm vs. Brackett
- Saturday - 9:00 am vs. Crystal City
