3-2-2020 Softball D'Hanis Tournament

What does it mean to be a "Coffee Bean"?

Here are some key principles that can help us be "Coffee Beans" in our life:

  1. Positive Body Language (starts with a smile)
  2. Exercise Daily (spiritual, mental, physical)
  3. Servant Leadership (focus on others)
  4. Controlling what you think, say, feel, and do
  5. Past does not define you

The power of the above message has been so intentional and impactful for our softball program that it has allowed us to see instant success. Being a "Coffee Bean" simply means that you transform your environment and atmosphere, you don't soften up to it, and/or you don't harden up to it.

This past weekend your Lady Pirates Softball team traveled to D'Hanis to compete in the 5th annual Cowgirls Classic.

With momentum going into the tournament from last Tuesday's big "W" over Hondo, that momentum carried into the weekend as your Lady Pirates went 4-0 and claimed the Championship Trophy!

Game 1 vs Medina: 13-0 (W)

Game 2 vs SA Brackenridge: 12-2 (W)

Game 3 vs Medina: 16-3 (W)

Game 4 (Championship) vs Charlotte: 4-3 (W)

These ladies are special, and as a coaching staff, we are extremely proud on how much they focus on serving, loving, and caring for each other and others that are a part of our journey!

Please congratulate these wonderful young ladies on their accomplishment.
