Yesterday, March 3rd, the Pirate Band performed at the Region 11 UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation. All three Concert judges and all three Sight Reading judges gave the and the highest rating of 1st Division. Combined with the 1st Division in Marching the band earned in October, yesterday’s results give the Pirate Band a UIL Sweepstakes Award! The band also earned a Sweepstakes last year, and these back-to-back Sweepstakes are the first consecutive Sweepstakes in the history of Lytle High School! LHS had Sweepstakes the following years:  1971-72, 2008-09, 2011-12, 2016-17, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
