PIRATES WIN. PIRATES WIN. These guys are special. They fight, scratch, claw, and do whatever it takes. It truly is a blessing to be able to coach these young men and be a part of their lives. Adversity Warriors, the opening kickoff, Cole decides to surprise onside to start the game. They recover. Our defense, the guys we are leaning on week after week holds Cole to a field goal. We sputter on our opening drive and punt the ball back to the cougars. Then the defense starts playing great and we are able to score 21 points. Scores from Justin DeLeon, 6-yd run; Logan Wilson 12-yd reception from Carson Aldridge; Mark Cantu 20-yd run. Pirates were up 21-3, then a coverage breakdown would allow Cole to close the gap before the half 21-10. Cole opened up the 2nd half with a scoring drive to make the score 21-17. Then the Pirates answered back with a 2-yd run from Mark for his 2nd touchdown of the night.
