12-9-2020 Girls' Varsity Basketball Beat Uvalde and Patent's Night a Success

The girls dedicated the game last night, December 8th, to their parents as we recognized all 10 of our amazing parents. I always say I am blessed with some of the best parents in Lytle. The girls came out strong on defense and Uvalde struggled to break our press and we were up 26-2 at the end of the first quarter. When the buzzer sounded it was a win for Lytle. This was a big TEAM win with everyone getting valuable minutes as we start District next Tuesday. Calyssa Sevier led the way again in scoring with 19 points and 9 assists. Kylie Mask followed with 11 points and 4 steals. Fizz Hutton had 8 points and a season-high 10 steals. Martinez and Medina both had 6 points and Martinez had some great passes to her teammates. Ramos had 5 points and Nagelin had 4 points. We are 6-5 for the year. Go, Pirates!!!
