1-27-2021 Girls' Varsity Beat Jourdanton 10th Win in District

We knew returning to action after the seven days off due to the cancellation of Cotulla’s game we would be a little rusty. Tuesday, January 26th, we missed a lot of easy baskets but our defense once again held Jourdanton to only seven points at the half. We scored 24 points off Jourdanton turnovers and the team collected 25 steals. It was a physical game with a lot of pushing and no fouls being called. I am proud of how the girls responded and kept their composure. It will benefit us in the postseason. This win over Jourdanton taks the girls to a perfect 10-0 record in District and 17-5 for the Season. The girls have four games left and only need to win two out of the four to claim the District Title, however our goal is to finish with a perfect 14-0. These nine young ladies have worked so hard and the dedication is unbelievable. The chemistry they have on the court is defiantly something special.
