This past week the Varsity Tennis team traveled to Uvalde to play in their Pre-District tournament. Each year we look forward to this tournament as its usually one of the most competitive of the season, plus they guarantee 4 matches which allows for lots of court time to prepare for our District tournament.
The two highlights from the tournament were first, Kyle Mueller finished the tournament with a 3-1 record which kept him in the main draw and Kyle finished in 5th place out of a field of 32 singles players. Secondly, our #1 boys doubles team of Diego Rangel and Michael Tomlinson also finished in 5th place of the main draw out of 28 teams, finishing with a 3-1 record.
