There was a playoff atmosphere last night, April 13th, in Jourdanton. After 4 lead changes and a ton of close plays, the Lytle Pirates came out on top. Zak Placido made a nice catch on a line shot to centerfield (with runners on 2nd and 3rd) to end the game. Whew!
It was a great team win. 14 different Pirates contributed to the win.
Highlights include: Logan Wilson was 3 for 4 with an RBI and 3 runs scored, Caleb Wood had a 2-RBI triple in the 6th, Collin Aldridge & Justin Deleon both had an RBI single
Justin Deleon threw 5 good innings. Caleb Wood thew 2 good innings of relief to get the win.
