Lytle JV 0 - Randolph JV 8
Last night, October 7, 2021, the Lytle Junior Varsity football team played host to the Randolph Ro-Hawks. It was another defensive battle for the Junior Varsity Pirates. Both teams had their moments on offense but it was the defense that stole the show. The Pirate defense was led by Linebackers Nicco Pacheco, Abel Garcia, Jair Flores, Hudson Lindsay, and Adriel Galindo.
The highlight of the game was a 4th quarter goal line stance that kept the Ro-Hawks out of the endzone. This unbelievable series of 8 plays inside our own 15-yard line gave us one last opportunity to tie the game.
