10-12-2021 Varsity Boys Win 4th Straight Championship and Girls Make History as District 27-3A Champions

Varsity girls beat the #6 team in the State, Poth, by 2 points without our #1 runner, Eisabel Guerrero, in a close competitive race. Fantastic job girls! Two more to go! Making History!

On 12 October 21, we competed in the District 27-3A XC Meet and, for the second straight year, both the boys and girls won the District Championship.

The Varsity girls continue to make us proud as they had a great second mile to overcome Poth's aggressive start. Moriah Gomez set a personal record and it couldn't have come at a better time. Both her and Natalie Williams had huge races to overcome the void of not having Eisabel Guerrero, to beat the #6 team in the State, the Poth Pirates. It was a huge confidence booster, and it happened at a perfect time, heading into regionals. We hope to have all 7 girls running together for the first time all year next Monday.
