October 28, 2021, no matter what that Red Team tried our boys were having none of it! The Red team scheduled another game prior to our originally scheduled game. What they did not figure is that our Gold Team was up to the challenge and shut them out 14-0. Our defense was relentless and offense played hard.
When we got to the original 7th Grade kick off, the feeling in the stadium was electric!
The Red Team came in undefeated and looking to make a statement. Our players didn’t flinch, fold, or think about giving in. It was the best display of unselfish football I have ever seen and showed what a TEAM, not individuals, can do through adversity! When players went down or mistakes were made our boys played even harder and in positions they were not familiar with. I would like to recognize several players, but that would not be fair at this time as this was a true ALL-OUT TEAM WIN! The Defense was outstanding and Offense spectacular which continued our season on the right note!
