Lytle JV 6 - Jourdanton JV 0
The Lytle Junior Varsity football team defeated Jourdanton last night in an exciting, hard-fought game. The Pirate defense played outstanding, creating 3 turnovers: 2 interceptions by Daniel Romero and 1 by Jair Flores. Defensive standouts were Linebackers Jair Flores, Abel Garcia, Hudson Lindsay, and Adriel Galindo. The defensive line was led by Anthony Perdomo, Juan Castillo, and Damien Ramon. All in all, the stingy Pirate defense dominated the Indians all night long and finished with their 2nd shutout of the season.
The Pirate offense did just enough. Quarterback Hudson Lindsay hooded up with Jair Flores who then threw a "double pass" to Robert Inming on the game's only touchdown in the 3rd quarter.
We are extremely proud of this group of guys. They are improving with each week of the season.
