November 6, 2021. Congratulations to both the boys and girls for their showing at the STATE MEET. The girls just missed out on a 3rd place team plaque, losing to rival Poth by 19 points.
The boys…after fighting injuries and not mentioned as one of 7 teams to watch…. ran their best race of the year and finished 3rd in the STATE. Avenging their loss to Brownsville IDEA Frontier College Prep, who beat them at Regionals.
Congratulations to both groups, finishing as one of the top Cross Country programs in 3A.

I am so proud of this group! We started our journey on June7, 2021 and went 22 straight weeks Chasing a Dream. They created a Sisterhood and Brotherhood through it all that I really didn't understand till this year. Two weeks before District we were not even sure if Natalie was going to run this season or if we were going to have a boys' team at District. However, they somehow managed to stick together through all the injuries and setbacks and finished as the #4 and #3 teams in 3A in the STATE!
BOYS
Started year ranked #6 in State, only ran 3 of 8 invitationals with a full team, won District, were Regional Runner-Ups and finished 3rd in the State.
4 straight years to state ('18-3rd, '19-6th, '20-4th, '21-3rd), 7th overall ('09-3rd, '12-2nd, '13-1st)
4th straight District Title ('18-'21) 12th since 2003 ('06-'13)
GIRLS
Girls started not ranked, won District, Regionals and finished 4th in the State
