Friday night’s game on November 12, 2021, was a nail bitter until the end and the girls pulled out the win over SA Christian. The girls came out flat and Christian jumped on us early but after a quick timeout to settle the girls down we finished the 1st quarter down only by 2. The second quarter we outscored them 12-9 going into halftime, we were up 29-28. At the half we expressed to the girls about being focused every game and coming out ready to play. The 3rd and 4th quarters would be close and back and forth but the ladies pulled it out to capture our first win of the season. Fizz Hutton and Nicole Godines fouled out early in the 4th and Amelia Martinez came off the bench and gave us some great defense. Eisabel Guerrero came out late and gave some good minutes of defense as well. Our posts Sofia Hutton, Kaylee Diaz and Arianna Garcia helped with rebounding underneath. Nicole Godines has really stepped up and is doing an excellent job starting for us this year. The girls are 1-1 for the season.

Sofia Hutton had 2 points and 3 rebounds.
Arianna Garcia had 2 points and 1 rebound.
