Last night, November 18, 20201, the 7th Grade boys’ basketball team kicked off its season. Our Gold team played a hard-fought battle that went into one minute of overtime with "Miracle Man" Muraira hitting a game winning three-pointer.
The B team took the court led by Kash "Money" Friesenhaun’s 7 points winning 24-10. Then the A team took the floor and got off to a slow start, but came on strong when it counted. With exceptional defense and Seth "Superman" Pierce leading the team with 18 points the Lytle Pirates started the season with two “W” and sent Dilley home to deal with a long bus ride. If anything, this season will be fun and interesting to say the least. Come and support your boys when you can. Thanks to Mrs. McCarthy for doing the books and all the support from the school.
