The girls finished the preseason off at the Navarro Tourney, Saturday, December 4, 2021. We went 2-3 for the weekend against some great competition and playing all schools above 3A classification. Coming off the loss in Hondo, I was curious how the girls would respond and, of course, they came out fighting in each game.
San Marcus Home School 58 - Lytle 46

Then we went into bracket play and we won both games.

Everyone played and got some great minutes to help contribute on Tuesday as we start District. Congrats to Caddie Martinez she was named All Tourney.
The Portland game was a good one to finish the preseason on they were a tough physical team we had to keep fighting and had to knock down free throws towards the end.
The girls finish the preseason 10-6.
The girls will start District next week. Time to throw the rankings and records out the window, as we take care of business and work to reach our goals of finishing in the top two and making it past the first round of playoffs. Go Pirates!
