Last weekend, January 8, 2022, nine members of the Lytle Pirate Band competed at the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) Area Competition. The competition was very tough, and our students did not disappoint! Results are posted below. Notably, Stefan Grigsby has earned a spot among the top 3A French Horn players in the State! In addition to this wonderful personal achievement, Stefan has made history for Lytle ISD as the 1st French Horn player in the history of the Lytle High School to make the All State Band!
We are excited about his achievement, and proud of all nine students that competed at Area Auditions. If you see one of these fine young student-musicians, please help us congratulate them!
