The Lytle Pirates hosted the Dilley Lobos on Thursday afternoon, January 13, 2022. It was a slow start for the Pirates, with the first quarter 0-5 and at the half, 2-14. #21 Sewell got the Pirates on the board with the first bucket of the afternoon. Late in the third, the Pirates were still chasing the Lobos and still down 6-19. The Pirates got some momentum when #2 Muraira, #11 Sanchez, and #21 Sewell brought the Pirates within 2 points for a tie or 3 points to win the game. It was a close game, in the fourth with 2.345 seconds left and Dilley in the lead 19-21. Dilley inbounds the ball and the Pirates couldn't steal it. Time ran out and Dilley won.
