The girls traveled down to Karnes City on Friday, January 14, 2022, and picked a big road win. Splitting with Karnes City put us back in the hunt for 1st place. We were up 31-15 going into halftime, but in the 3rd quarter, we only scored four points. We just went cold and nothing was falling for us. In the 4th quarter, Karnes City outscored us 17-10 but we were able to hold on to the lead. We struggled with scoring at times and Cadee Martinez was in foul trouble the entire game.
